The Phoenix Seagaia Resort,containing the Convention Center and the Sheraton Grande Ocean Resort Hotel, is located in the northeastern part of the City of Miyazaki, Miyazaki prefecture in Kyusyu area, on the Hitotsuba Coast facing the Pacific Ocean. Phoenix Seagaia Resort is Japan's premier international destination resortand made famous by the Kyushu-Okinawa G8 Summit 2000 Miyazaki Meeting of Foreign Ministers was held at Summit Hall in the Convention center.

Phoenix Seagaia Resort is accessible by taxi or bus in 30 minutes from Miyazaki Airport which is connected with Japan'major international airport, Incheon International Airport in Korea and Taoyuan International Airport in Taiwan.

Miyazaki is full of places of scenic beauty and historic interest and is connected with the Japanese myths of "Tenson Kōrin" which refers to the descent from heaven of the sun goddess's grandson and their creation of Japan.

Miyazaki enjoys some of the mildest weather in Japan. Temperatures are well above the national average, and there is always plenty of sunshine to go around.

General Information

Transfer information for domestic flight to Miyazaki

  • If you arrive at Narita International Airport
  • Plan 1
    You transfer from Narita to Haneda Airport.
    There are many routes, but we recommend using the Limousine Bus that is directly connected between Narita and Haneda Airports  
    Depart approximately every 15 min.
    Duration: approximately 90min.
    Fair: Adult single 3000 JPY
  • Plan 2
    You can flight to Miyazaki via Fukuoka Airport without transportation from Narita to Haneda.
    Between Narita and Fukuoka or Fukuoka and Miyazaki have many flights.
  • If you arrive at Haneda, Nagoya and Fukuoka Airport
    Several flights without transportation between international and domestic airports are available.

From Miyazaki Airport to conference

  • A free shuttle bus provided by ICSCRM 2013 is very convenient (recommended).This shuttle bus will be running at September 28 to September 30.
  • A limited number of city buses are available (32 minutes from the airport and ¥830) only on weekends.
  • It takes 20 minutes by taxi (approximately ¥4,500).

Miyazaki station is about 10 minutes from Miyazaki Airport by JR train.
From Miyazaki station, city bus lines 16 or 18-1 are available every day (25 minutes and ¥500). It takes 15 minutes by taxi (approximately ¥2,500).

The free shuttle bus from conference site to Miyazaki airport will be also running at October 4 and 5.
